Belo Blow Dry Bar throws Holiday Party Trunk Show for Charity

joanneOn December 5, 2014, Laguna Beach Hospitality Night, Belo Blow Dry Bar threw a party to benefit Project Hope Alliance, a charity that helps get homeless children in Orange County off the streets and into safe homes.

It was a perfect chance for Laguna Beach residents to get a bit of Christmas shopping done while they enjoyed drinks, appetizers and music. The Party featured seven amazing vendors including: La Weez Jewelry, Wendy Stillman Jewerly, Pashy Bella, Bohemian Bones, clothing from Red Fox Laguna, Stance Socks, and handbags by Bagabond.

djOur favorite, ‘DJ Boyfriend’ was spinning house music on the deck. And it didn’t take long for a full dance party to break out. “People on the street below us could hear the music and were dancing along,” exclaimed Patricia Mussleman owner of Belo Blow Dry Bar.

We were serving delicious food by our favorite, 118 Degrees and we had a full bar of complementary champagne, wine, and beer with a suggested donation to Project Hope Alliance.

jewelry ramOther than the fact that we had so much fun, we are proud to announce that thanks to all the amazing people who came to support, we were able to raise over $1,500 for Project Hope Alliance.

“This is INCREDIBLE!” said Jennifer Friend from Project Hope Alliance. “Looks to me like we have raised enough money in the end to move a child out of homelessness!! Just phenomenal.” The trunk show was such a success that Belo Blow Dry Bar has decided to throw one every other month, each time benefitting a different charity.
